- Time for a site refresh

Always being curious and attempting to be resourceful,
I've written several applications, patches, and
utilities for a variety of reasons ranging from
curiousity to outright annoyance with the lack of a
particular feature.
If you find this software useful, or would like to
express your appreciation and support for my work,
please consider buying something for me off of my
Amazon.com wishlist. Several
thousand people download software I've written from
this site every month, and almost nobody has ever
bothered with a thank you, let alone a contribution
from my wish list. Please consider that many of us
write free software because of a love for the
community and an enjoyment of the challenge -- a large
part of the motivation to continue writing and
improving software comes from kkowing that it's
appreciated.
Small legalese note: Licensing information is included
in each of these packages, but in general, unless
otherwise indicated, all of my software is distributed
under the Mozilla Public License. The MPL is basically a good mix
between the BSD, GPL, LGPL, and Artistic licenses. More
information on the MPL can be found at
http://www.mozilla.org/MPL.
- Perl Software
- A page dedicated to just my Perl coding efforts,
including a full SMTP server for Perl (SMTP::Server).
Go over there and visit, and see what interesting
things my twisted mind can conjure up in Perl. :)
- QuickAccess
- QuickAccess allows you to easily access
your Quicken data from Excel. I got so frustrated with
not being able to automagically import some of my
Quicken data into Excel, that late one night, after
getting extremely frustrated at having to open
Quicken, cut and past numbers constantly into Excel, and
then recalculate my numbers, that I sat down, had a nice
shot of my favorite whiskey, and wrote this little baby.
- Act! to
Outlook Converter
- A little utility I wrote to convert
Act! contact data into Outlook 98
- Netscape - Outlook Mail
Plugin
- A plugin that allows you to send mail using Outlook
from within Netscape when you click on a
mailto URL.
- ProFTPD
- This neat, up and coming project is
patterned after Apache. I'm currently the developer
and maintainer of ProFTPD. ProFTPD features
Apache-style configuration, as well as a focus on
security, flexibility and scalability.
- HTTPTunnel
- My RPM distribution of httptunnel with some added
convinience and security features.
